So good to be watching my favv show again, now that links for season 3 are up! Just wanted to share with you guys the theme track of ER which I've heard a million times now and I totally love!
1. I MADE IT TO NTU! whee.
Life is beautiful again!! All the tensions of the past 6 months, from worrying over the suckiness of the A, all the endless applications to US and Aus uni's, trips to IDP, talking to any and everyone alive to find out about my choices, prioritizing and then re-organizing my list of unis and trying to cover all the what-ifs conceivable. God, all that has come to a happy end!
I just dropped my bro at the airport :( what am i going to do for NINE days without him??? Moo.. He better win the competition and come man!
Wow, I have so much to blog about, I dunno where to start! So many things have happened so quickly over the last few days (=
Awesome match tonight, Kolkata Night Riders vs Royal Challengers.. KKR won by 140 runs! It was pretty clear from the time kkr made 222-3 who the winner would be, but it was still a great match because of the fantastic 153 by Bredon McCullum, awesome bowling of ganguly and ishant sharma and feilding of ponting (except for the last drop that he made :( )
Last 2 days have been unbelievably dull! Well ok yesterday was quite fun when I found tabs for some of my fav songs (above) and strummed along for like 3 hours. But then I had to teach Archit and Prachi in the evening so it was kinda like a guitar overdose >< and my fingers are still hurting today and i've got my guitar lesson at 5.. SIGH. i need to space things out.
Thanks to nutty dear, I ran the entire Bishan Park on sunday (well ok my side of the entire bishan park) which is more than I've ever done in my life. So I totally died running, like my heart was beating at 10000 beats per minute, my legs were jelly and I had a slippery tongue. On top of that, I ran with a major shoe bite thanks to the stupid jutees I wore on Friday (once again Nut's fault for making me walk all around Bugis).
I just bought and watched the 11th Hour, a documentary produced and narrated by Leonardo DiCaprio. (I didn't know one of my fav actors was also an environmentalist!) It was very inspiring and definitely worth the money. Wow, you come out feeling totally charged up and wanting to change the world, but thats where the problem is. As an individual there isn't much that one's actions alone can do to save the planet. I mean, yeah, I reuse my things, used recycled paper, observe Earth Hour and all, but i see so much wastage everyday in even the packaging of the littlest of things. It makes me wonder, are my sacrifices meaningful at all?
